Panels & Advisory Boards

ArtsFund   (2023-2024-2025)

Collaboratively working with other panelists, the Youth Arts Opportunity Fund (YAOF) Grant panel strives to select organizations that develop arts programming for underrepresented K-12 communities for an annual grant cycle.

The Current   (2021-2023)

Led by Victoria Miles, The Current committee integrated the first annual award cycle for an African-American artist, granted by the Tacoma Art Museum. Unrestricted, a $15,000 award was selected for Darrell Mckinney, in addition to programming and exhibition space titled, The Quiet Parts Out Loud (2023).

The Kinsey Collection (2020-2021)

Advisory committee working amongst art administrators, curators, and educators to engage programming highlighting the Kinsey Collection. Developed strategies to integrate the collection into the Tacoma Art Museum.

Arlington Drive Youth Campus (2020)

Panel selecting art pieces to be represented in a youth apartment complex designed by the Tacoma Housing Authority for young adults arriving out of homelessness and foster care environments.

Friends of the Waterfront (2020)

Panel selecting artists to engage with Pier 63 installation reflecting on the future of Seattle and youth ideas, in tandem with Parks and Recreation Seattle. The question posed, “How do you envision the future?”
